Winged Flower Girl

Jerry Yoon Photography has multiple photos of 'angel' flower girls on their site.  Visit the site to see the glorious photos of children in weddings.  Angelic looking little girls, mischievous little boys, and giggling babies.  Jerry Yoon Photography catches them all.  The photo above is one of my favorites.  If you have a chance, contact them to photograph your wedding, the results are stunning.

Here we see our 'angel' walking down the aisle with all the confidence of Tyra Banks on the runway of a high fashion show.  She has the walk down to a science and Jerry Yoon Photography captures the strut and the attitude.

Here's a whimsical look of our 'angel' looking down from above.  This young lady has being a flower girl down to an exact science.  The walk, the photos, the posture... she just makes you fall in love with her.  Can't you hear everyone at the wedding going 'ah, isn't she cute' as she walks down the aisle?

To contact Jerry Yoon Photography go to this link and fill out our info.  I can't guarantee they can provide you with the angelic flower girl above, but you will get great photos if what's on the web site is a sample of their work.

Gifts for The Children In Your Wedding

Finding a gift for a flower girl isn't too hard. But most brides rack their brain for what to get for your ring bearer for a gift? Why not get him tickets to a NBA game? Ticketamerica.com has NBA event tickets for some great teams like the Phoenix Suns and the Sacramento Kings and the Houston Rockets teams. Purchasing  a great gift for your ring bearer (or flower girl for that matter) is as easy as clicking these links: phoenix suns tickets, sacramento kings tickets, or houston rockets tickets .

Your ring bearer and flower girl will be talking about your wedding and the excitement of attending their first NBA game for years to come!

The Bride and The Flower Girl

This photo of the birde and her flower girl from Keith Ferris Photo shows just why we love having little girls in our weddings! So cute... a memory of playing dressup as a little girl while we move into our new life as a married woman.  Keith Ferris' photo captures the flower girl's expression perfectly!

Glittering Flower Wands

A wand for the flower girl, complete with flowers and glitter made this flower girl very happy! Creative wands are a great way to go for flower girls of any age.  Make your own or have your florist make one.  Either way they make for great photo ops!

Peonies, Parasols and Flower Girls

You can purchase the silk peony hair clip with topped off with a Swarovski crystal in the center from Pink Peppermint on Etsy.com. Alligator clips (even though they are hidden by the flower) are covered in a coordinating ribbon for a truly finished and professional look.

But it's the photo by Tammy Mitchell Photography that really sets off this hair accessory! How cute for a flower a girl to walk down the aisle with her own hair clip and parasol!

What A Pair!

Martha Stewart Weddings posted this cute photo of a flower girl and her cohort in crime who looks like he's a flower boy, not a ring bearer. Cute, laid back but so happy to be part of the wedding! How long he'll wear that jacket and tie is debatable, but so far, so good! Wedding Photography: Ingalls Photography

Flower Girls Frolicking Down The Aisle

Martha Stewart Weddings posted this cute pic of this pair of twins gleefully tripping down the aisle, spreading flower petals as they go.  This just goes to show you don't need a classic 'baby bride' look for your flower girls.  Let them enjoy the day and feel special in these cute outfits, pure lime green froth and perfect for their age.  The flower circlets make them feel like a pair of little fairies spreading flower petals wherever they go.

Rockabilly Wedding - Even The Ring Bearer!

This photo take by photographer Jessica Velarde is one of my favorite photos of a ring bearer! Totally adorable, yet such a 'little man' with all that responsibility for those wedding rings.  Photo from Green Wedding Shoes web site.  Visit Green Wedding Shoes to see more photos from this wedding that is not quite traditional but where it looks like everyone enjoyed themselves!

MSW and Fabric Ideas for Children In Your Wedding

Looking for a fun alternative to having your flower girl wear a wreath of flowers? Try these great ideas by Martha Stewart Weddings.  Papo d'Anjo dress at left; Coren Moore "Classic" shantung dress with an added sash of eyelet fabric.  My personal favorite is adding material to the hair and then braiding it on the right--for directions visit Martha's website

When the Ring Bearer Almost Steals The Show!

How cute is this combination of vest and hat for a ring bearer? This photo taken by Troy Grover and posted on Green Wedding Shoes.  Absolutely love the idea of a hat, but only if your ring bearer is a willing participant! Head over to Green Wedding Shoes to see the rest of the great photos Troy took of this creative wedding reception--held at all places, a bowling alley!  Take a look at the some of the great photo ops it provided though! Just goes to show you should never rule anywhere out as a venue!

Chief Petal Pusher and Her Buddy

A couple of the cutest ring bearer and flower girl pics from The Green Wedding Shoe! His flag is so typical of what little boys would be thinking in his shoes! And she's glorying in her job of chief petal pusher.  Kids are so cute at weddings!

Children and Pets in Weddings

So you're looking for the 'cute' factor as you decide who to include in your wedding party.  Your choice, flower girl and ring bearer or maybe your favorite pet carrying your rings down the aisle.  Very high cute factor but is it worth the insanity factor? Be sure when you choose either a child or pet that they are well trained, I know, you're laughing, but both kids and pets need to be old enough and mature enough to follow directions and not to freak out as they walk down the aisle.  You don't want pets or children likely to get so excited they, shall we say, leak as they walk down the aisle.  Consider assigning a parent or one of your bridal party the child or pet is used to as an 'aisle guide.'  This way your wedding will go off if not without a hitch, at least with minimal hitches!

Remember the old actor's adage, never work with children or pets? This is because it's so easy to be upstaged in the middle of an important scene.  Think about if you want your pet or flower girl/ring bearer to steal your limelight.  I know, it sounds selfish, but it should be your day.  Bad enough to be upstaged by a child but if your Labrador Retriever steals the show (or runs off with your rings) ...well you get the picture.

High Hats -- So Cute

Colorado Visions took this great shot shown above.  Visit their web site to see more of their work.  Perhaps the bride below expressed it best when she said: “Brian is a true artist! My main concern was to find a photographer who was able to capture the amazing scenery and landscape of our venue. After, seeing Brian’s work – it was no longer an issue! I knew I could trust him 100%. I would HIGHLY recommend Brian’s work. He had never been to our venue but the true artist in him captured all that we love about Colorado, the place where Erich and I came together. Thank you Brian!”

The Excitement Was Just Too Much!

Photo courtesy of The Wedding Project

Getting married at Renault Winery in southern New Jersey?  This flower girl was so excited she dropped her basket of flowers! Renault is a small winery with a beautiful outdoor area to use for wedding ceremonies and receptions.  It is well worth the drive if you are from the Philadelphia area to drive down and talk to the event manager about the possibility of having your wedding at Renault.
